2. Anti‑Money Laundering & Counter‑Terrorist Financing

BlackwellCloud maintains a robust Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) and Counter‑Terrorist Financing (CTF) framework in accordance with the requirements of the Hong Kong Anti‑Money Laundering and Counter‑Terrorist Financing Ordinance (AMLO) and the UK Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017.

Our AML/CTF policies include:

  • Segregation of Client Assets: Client securities and investments are held with independent custodians and are not commingled with our proprietary assets.

We do not have any proprietary interest in client assets, and we maintain strict internal controls to ensure that client assets are protected from misappropriation or misuse.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) in the UK or the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) in Hong Kong.

In accordance with regulatory requirements, BlackwellCloud maintains adequate Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) coverage to protect our clients against losses arising from professional negligence or errors in the provision of our services.

Our PII policy covers all regulated activities undertaken by our Hong Kong and UK entities and is reviewed annually to ensure appropriate coverage levels.

9. Financial Crime and Whistleblowing

We are committed to preventing and detecting financial crime, including fraud, bribery, corruption, and money laundering. We have a zero‑tolerance policy towards such conduct.

Our Whistleblowing Policy allows employees, clients, and third parties to report concerns about misconduct or potential regulatory breaches confidentially and without fear of retaliation. Reports may be made to our Compliance Officer at compliance@blackwellcloud.io.

All reports are treated seriously, investigated appropriately, and handled with strict confidentiality.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Our services provided through our Hong Kong entity are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Services provided through our UK entity are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong or the courts of England and Wales, as applicable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
